Dear patients and families,

This section of the web site is specifically for you. We want to provide this place for you to tell your stories, share your opinions and ideas, communicate with each other, discover new resources, and ask questions you might not have had a chance to ask at your last hospital visit. We will need your input for these pages.

Sharing Stories: We invite patients (also parents, grandparents, and siblings) to share their personal stories and experiences in dealing with childhood cancer. One person's insights, feelings, and courage can be helpful to someone else going through a similar experience. Check out this section to see if there is something helpful for you or to discover that you may have something to contribute, too.

Ask the Experts: This is your chance to ask questions for the "experts" on our staff to answer. We will look at the questions and select the appropriate staff member to provide an answer. Remember that these will be general questions and answers - not specifically related to any personal diagnosis. For example, questions might be about nutrition during radiation therapy or chemotherapy, about side effects of treatment and how to cope, how to cope with anxiety, or why things are done a certain way. You may direct your question to our medical staff, psychosocial team, dietitian, or office staff.

Book Reviews and Lists: Our resident bookworm will present books which parents, patients, or staff have read and reviewed. We welcome ideas and reviews from you for this section. We also have listed books(and some videos) which you might find helpful.

Late Effects of Therapy for Cancer: Read articles and answer surveys regarding the late effects of therapy for cancer.

To send us your stories, questions, book reviews, or suggestions, bring them to the clinic with you and leave them for the web editor at the desk, or:
